During the liquidation of the consequences of the accident at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant temporary points have been created in the adjacent territories , with purpose of the fastest possible localization of radioactive materials.
According to the Concept of the National Targeted Environmental Program with management of radioactive waste, approved by the order of the Cabinet of Ministers dated 4.11.2022 No. 992-r, regarding rehabilitation measures at the points of temporary localization of RW, further reburial of radioactive waste is assumed from the most ecologically hazardous points to “Buryakivka” RWDS.
